Pasture PharmaHub licensed to handle veterinary vaccines for re-export

26 October 2026

Pasture PharmaHub has been granted a licence by Singapore's Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS) to possess veterinary biologics for commercial purposes.

The licence allows Pasture PharmaHub to import specified veterinary vaccines into Singapore for re-export. It will act as a licensed hub between vaccine manufacturers and buyers overseas.

Most demand for veterinary vaccines comes from farms. Livestock, pigs and poultry accounted for around three quarters of global veterinary vaccine sales in 2022, according to BIS Research data published by Statista. In Southeast Asia, vaccination is one of the main defences against diseases such as foot-and-mouth and classical swine fever, and the UN estimates that foot-and-mouth disease alone costs around US$21 billion a year worldwide.

Pasture already holds HSA licences for pharmaceuticals and serves customers in more than 50 countries. The new licence brings animal health into the same regulated operation, and more vaccines can be added to it over time.
